Happy Easter

The kids went to a couple egg-hunts earlier in the week and had a great time. Caleb was really into it while Quinton was fine with just one egg. His were filled with bunny-grahams and craisins. The Easter bunny came last night and the boys were so excited. Caleb hopped circles around the house. We even let Quinton have a little chocolate. They got some movies and candy from Grandma and Grandpa, chocolate, stickers, Conference bingo card which Caleb loved and of course, rabbit ears. We took a Sunday morning stroll through the park. All the snow has melted but all the dried leaves are still there. It looks more like fall than spring but it was still a beautiful stroll.
Conference was wonderful. The themes seemed to be turning to Lord in times of grief and hardship, forgiving others who wrong or offend you, and mostly teaching the rising generation to find the Savior.

Dinner was not a traditional Easter feast but lots of Latin food. Tostones, avocados, black beans and brown rice, grilled flank steak with mole verde and a jicama-apple slaw.
Sorry, no pictures we were too hungry.

Happy Easter! It looks like you had a great weekend. I love when conference falls on Easter weekend. It's the perfect way to really focus on the Savior and what's important in life.

Tostones? Sounds delicious as always. I love Quinton's picture with his front teeth. He looks so much older and reminds me that he's growing fast while I'm not there to watch. Can't wait to see you this weekend!
