Once a year the city opens up the abandoned subway tunnels to the public. These tunnels are directly under the bridge that spans the Cuyahoga river.The Subawy closed in 1954

There were actual stalagmites and stalactites formed from all the salt from the road above. We could hear the faint sounds of cars crossing above us.
