Christmas letter

Carpenters 2010

Caleb is loving preschool. He can spell his name and is starting to read words. He is really into dinosaurs and will talk you ear off telling you all about them. Puzzles are still a favorite. He is very helpful around the house but he is also a micromanager. He is very much a little boy now and I sadly have to admit the there is no more baby/toddler in him.

Quinton is a whirlwind of trouble. We frequently say, "It's a good thing you are so cute!" In fact, I'm yelling at him right now to stop that as I'm writing this Christmas letter. He still wears his foot braces at night and can walk and run (and climb) just as good if not better than others his age. He recently discovered how to climb out of his crib even with the braces on (think pole-vaulter), making bed time and nap time a real challenge for us. He is saying lots of words and learning more each day.

Clayton's new hobby is photography and he is getting quite good at it. He will graduate from Case Dental School next May. He just finished the written boards which he felt pretty good about. He is searching for jobs and trying to figure out where we will live next year. Strange to think that by this time next year we will be somewhere new. We will miss Cleveland so much!

Eva is full-time Mom and part-time Chef. She loves her job at Viking teaching cooking classes and cooking for private events. She dreams of re-starting her catering business when we settle some place. She is also looking forward to having a Home of her very own. Both Clayton and Eva serve in the Nursery at church. It's nice to spend time with Quinton.

Duke has gone on a long winter holiday to AZ to live with Eva's sister. He has new animal friends there and will probably run and hide when we come to claim him after our move.
