El Morro Monument
This is where we visited the Saturday before I had Ruby. It was really cool to see the hundreds of ancient engravings from the 1600's to the 1800's.
The first inscription carved at El Morro was that of Governor Don Juan de Onate in 1605, 15 years before the pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock.
Higher up the mountain were ruins from the 1300's.
